Customers
Within the Energy Center’s 130-square-block
service area in downtown Minneapolis, there are
approximately 100 customer buildings using our heating system and more
than 40 are tapped into our cooling system. These buildings represent a
mix of property types, including commercial, retail, hospitality, residential,
educational, medical, worship, sporting venues, government, theaters and
manufacturing facilities.

The Energy Center’s Fairview-Augsburg Plant, located across the
Mississippi River from downtown Minneapolis, supplies steam to nearly
25 administrative and academic buildings on the Augsburg College campus
as well as to the nearby University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview
campus.
